Well, the homosexuals managed to persuade the Israel Supreme Court and the Jerusalem police to let them show their perverted ways in the streets of Jerusalem. Recently, there was much spiritual warfare around the world but the humanists in Israel were determine to let them have their way.
It's not surprising that the homosexuals wanted to march in Jerusalem. It's their ultimate in-your-face to the God of Creation. They may not consciously know what they are doing but spiritually they know. That is why the hatred and anger is seen; they know what they do is against God's commands and their spirit fights against it.
The point that many people seem to miss, however, is that the rest of the world, the so-called "straight" people, did and said nothing. The Israel Supreme Court and the Jerusalem police all said there was nothing they could do, it's their right (whatever that means). There was no public outcry from Christian "leaders". There were no mass mailing campaigns to call your senator or the President to have them intervene. There were no large rallies or demonstrations by Christians here in the U.S. Those same Christian "leaders" claim there are 50-70 million Christians in the U.S. that support Israel and God's holy land. Where have they been these last few weeks? Why were they so silent while homosexuals were preparing to descend upon God's holy city? These same Christian "leaders" can rally thousand of people to demand that children be able to pray around a flag pole but why not when God's holy city is being openly defiled? God Himself said to Ezekiel, as they overlooked the Temple Mount in Jerusalem:
"And He said unto me, 'Son of man, this is the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever.'" (Ezekiel 43.7)
And yet, those who say they are followers of the God of Israel do not seem to care about it. They are more worried about the god of 'America' and the god of patriotism. They are more focused on electing some mere man to run a pagan government that is bent on dividing God's holy land.
Just a couple quotes from an Arutz Sheva report:
A Jerusalem woman named Rebecca, who helped organize a petition that collected tens of thousands of signatures against last year's homosexual parade, said at the time, "I want to make it clear that this is not a homophobic issue; if the Mardi Gras, a heterosexual event, were to be held here, we would object with the same vociferousness. The reason is because Jerusalem is the spiritual dimension of the world; it is a spiritual jewel to the world, and we don't want it tarnished.... We want to show that the majority of the people in this city do not want sexuality paraded around without modesty or dignity. In addition, homosexuality in particular is not something that we want to see advocated in our holy city."
Andrew Friedman, writing for Ynet last year, said he asked JOH [Jerusalem Open House, a homosexual organization which organized the march] head Noa Sattah why her organization had not routed the parade through the Muslim and Christian quarters of Jerusalem. "We don't want to offend them [the Arabs]," she explained, to which Friedman responded, "But many Jews are also offended by the march. Seems to me that means you are careful not to offend Arab residents, but feel it is your right to offend Jewish ones." Friedman wrote that Sattah's "silence in response was deafening."
I myself weep for this day. And I pray for those in Israel who had to suffer through it. But I know they will continue to stand, and they will continue to seek the God of our fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
